Hands of Compassion is an independent Christian hands-on charity dedicated to providing direct support to struggling individuals in our local communities and beyond.

Our organisation not only provides personal assistance from within to those in need, but we are also a referal centre for Drug, Alcohol abuse, domestic violence and emergency accomodation. We network with many organisations to provide a wholistic approach to needs.

At preseent we are working very closely with The rock (FACS) to provide food parcels to those in need of food to aleviate the burdon of unemployment, homelessness, and other unforseen circumstances. 

We have many new community projects in the pipeline to not only help to relieve pain and suffering of families and youth but help provide better communities and standard of life to those in need. Why not give us a call to learn more of what we have in plan and how you can help.

The next project we plan is called "Boys to Men"   This is a mentoring program for boys without fathers. Statistics say that by the age of 18years, only 2 in 5 children will live in a home with both biological parents and most of these are living without a father which gives the male influence all boys are longing for. In this new venture we will have activitiy based programs that will enhance the lives of boys between the ages of 9-14 years to give them positive role models to look up to, which we feel will only better our community and the lives of our future men within society. 

We at Hands of Compassion see a great need in the community for the many boys who are living in this fatherless environment who have no role model to speak into their lives. In our 'Boys to Men' community outreach progra's will consist of taking a number of young teenagers on camping extreme weekends which may include, Water Skiing, Motorbikes/Quads, Fishing & Hiking. Within this weekend there will be team building exercises and a time at night around the camp fire or throughout the day to listen and also speak positive life skills and encouragement into their lives.

There are many new resources needed to begin this great program as far as equipment,  however, we are believing that all these needs will be met to ensure it’s success. If you can help in any way, remembering all donations are tax deductable , we would love to hear from you.
